We are in search of a Human Resources Generalist to join our team in the manufacturing industry, stationed at our workplace in Verona, Virginia. The role involves dealing with employee issues, conducting attendance counseling, and engaging in heavy investigation work within a factory setting of around 400 individuals. This role is instrumental in maintaining a healthy and productive work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate bi-weekly orientations and assist employees with benefits setup.

• Handle employee issues and provide guidance for HR-related concerns in the factory.

• Conduct attendance counseling and checkpoints to address and resolve issues.

• Carry out heavy investigation work to ensure compliance and maintain employee relations.

• Be actively involved in the posting of internal jobs as part of the HR team.

• Provide assistance in guiding employees through benefits setup.

• Maintain an onsite presence 5 days a week to ensure smooth operations.

• Utilize skills such as Workday, ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Ceridian, HCM, Benefit Functions, Communication, Compliance, Employee Relations, and Hiring Processes to perform duties effectively.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Workday

• Proven experience with HCM and Benefit Functions

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• In-depth knowledge of compliance regulations within the manufacturing industry

• Previous experience managing employee relations

• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred

• Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality

• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously

• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Previous experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
