Amazon Software Development Engineer II, PSPP in Vancouver, British Columbia

The Amazon Payment Service Provider Program (PSPP) is directly responsible to retain customer trust through our innovative approaches to leverage data to detect and mitigate fraud, by requiring any seller who uses an external payment service to receive their Amazon sales proceeds to work with a payment service provider participating in PSPP. We are an agile team, moving quickly in collaboration with our business to bring new features that positively impact tens of millions of Amazon customers, while having fun and filing new inventions along the way. A day in the life

As PSPP team in YVR is still ramping up, you will be asked to coach more junior SDE understanf the platform and Amazon way of working, while delivering complex projects in parternship with the team PMs, TPM and partner team.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Vancouver, BC, CAN

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary for this position ranges from $114,800/year up to $191,800/year. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
