Key job responsibilities

  • You will build the next generation shopping experience and systems in order to provide a world-class Delivery Experience.

  • You will be working on a set of full-stack technologies ensuring consistent scaling of delivery information to millions of users World Wide.

  • As a member of our team, you will work closely with the business to design and implement new features. You will contribute to all aspects of an agile software development life cycle including design, architecture, development, documentation, testing and operations.

  • You will push your design and architecture limits by owning all aspects of solutions end-to-end, through full stack software development.

  • You will develop highly scalable, low latency, intelligent software that will have a massive impact on customers.

  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills, are self-driven, and can deliver high quality results in a fast-paced environment.

A day in the life

You will be part of a team consisting of talented Senior Engineers, Technical Program Managers and Product Managers who will further push you to learn and grow. Your impact is across world wide Amazon marketplaces, supporting dozens of locales and languages.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary for this position ranges from $114,800/year up to $191,800/year. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
