Open Door Center Production Assistant and Job Coach in Valley City, North Dakota

SUMMARY Assists in production of food items by performing the following duties

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Maintains inventory. Takes inventory as needed. Receive and document raw product upon delivery.

Oversees daily operation of production area. Runs retail packaging equipment for specified products as assigned. Completes appropriate paperwork for each production run. Maintains quality of products throughout production cycle by assuring accurate weighing and measuring. Follows sanitary procedures for safe food handling.

Work Habits. Accepts responsibility to be at work as scheduled or fills shift when necessary. Accepts weekend/holiday hours if applicable. Recognizes importance of teamwork and initiative. Will sign confidentiality agreement for recipes, production and packaging of all items.

Dress Code. Appropriate work attire will be required in kitchen. Long pants (no sweats), Kitchen shoes (ex. Tennis shoes, that can be left at work site; no street shoes, sandals or flip flops). Short sleeve or three quarter sleeve shirts. Longer hair tied back. No Jewelry.

Shift:

Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm w/1-hour lunch breaks

Weekends w/ out of town Travel during Pride of Dakota shows

Duties include but not limited to:

Will assist in producing food products such as jellies, breads, and soups

Will work with training of individuals in the work site on production activities.
