Termination Operator (1st Shift)

Description

Follows Knowles traveler’s procedures to apply termination to capacitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reads the traveler and Knowles procedures to select the proper termination for required parts.

  • Programs the chip star machine with the appropriate dimensions and type of termination.

  • Places racks of parts into the hand termination process and follows the proper procedure to apply termination.

  • Removes plates with pieces and dries them in the oven.

  • Minimum Education and/or Experience required: To perform this an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Must be able to read, comprehend, write, and speak in English. Ability to read, comprehend, and follow work instructions and lot paperwork. Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

  • Capability to perform mathematical tasks such as adding, subtracting, multiplication, division is required.

  • Ability to learn and understand moderately complex mechanical assemblies and perform maintenance tasks.

  • All applicants must be eligible to work in the US without restriction to ITAR documentation and materials.

Must be a US citizen, legal permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

One element in our total compensation package is base pay. The starting salary pay for this role is targeted to be between $17.00 to $19.00

Individual compensation decisions are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to previous experience and skills acquired prior to joining Knowles, cost of living in the assigned work location, assigned schedule, and salaries of similarly situated peers at the company. It is to be expected that candidates will come to us with different sets of skills and experiences and therefore will be paid at different points in the stated range.
