Hilton Director - Food and Beverage in Vaitape, France

The Conrad Bora Bora Nui 5* Hotel, located in French Polynesia is recruiting a F&B Director to ensure the quality of its services.

Reporting to the General Manager and Resort Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the Food

& Beverage department, 4 restaurants, 3 bars as well as the room service and eventual banqueting (more or less 65 employees within

the team).

With a strong desire to create unique, innovative and unexpected experiences for each and every customer, you will establish and

ensure compliance with quality service standards by personalizing the customers’ experience and ensuring their total satisfaction.

As a creative thinker, you develop ideas to maximize your revenue and to promote Polynesian culture within your department.

You manage the sales outlets from a human, technical and administrative standpoint, in compliance with procedures established by

the Direction and Conrad’s standards.

You are very field-oriented, working closely with customers and teams.

You are the guarantor of the application of the brand’s standards, you check the financial equilibrium of your forecasts budgets and

ensure the profitability of your business.

You maintain effective communication within your F&B team and the other departments of the hotel. You ensure the constant

improvement of the hotel’s catering brand image and quality of service. You continuously train your teams to Conrad’s standards.

You will particularly be required to carry out the following tasks while maintaining a high quality of service:

- Manage the department and ensure an optimal organization,

- Manage all the outlets’ operations,

- Maintain an exceptional quality of customer’s service,

- Ensure compliance with Conrad brand standards

- Recruit, manage, train and develop the team,

- Handle customers’ requests promptly and effectively,

- Work within the Food & Beverage cost and payroll budget,

- Establish goals, work schedules, budgets, policies and procedures,

- Encourage team members to maximize sales and revenue,

- Conduct annual evaluations,

- Evaluate the different levels of customers’ satisfaction with a focus on the constant improvement

- Ensure that communication meetings are conducted,

- Demonstrate environmental awareness,

- Maintain positive working relationships,

- Follow hotel safety and all the laws related to health regulations,

You are sociable and a positive leader who prioritizes the well-being and development of the team members by having a proactive

approach.

Having a knowledge about Hilton’s group and Conrad’s brand is a definite asset.

Interpersonal and behavioral skills:

- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar position within a 5-star resort

- Passionate about customer relation, leadership, charisma and staff development

- Proficient in computer/Microsoft usage

- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly,

- Teamwork skills,

- Fluent in French and English,

- International experience,

- Experience within a globally recognized hotel group
