Xylem Project Manager in Vadodara, India

Essential duties, principal responsibilities:

Project manages various aspects of the SCPQ program, including effectively identifying, assessing and managing project risks, identifying and communicating outstanding issues, initiating and executing issue resolution activities, and providing periodic status updates to ensure timely completion of project deliverables.

Works closely with system integrator, software vendor, business teams and other key stakeholders to project manage SCPQ software tool implementation in assigned areas of the business. Ensures cross functional team achieves program results.

Regularly presents project status and results and champions cross-functional and team communications across multiple levels of the organization.

Participates in Xylem Watermark Volunteer Activities.

Minimum qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, abilities. License/Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree from accredited university and engineering, Business, Computer science or related field required.

  • 3-5 plus years work experience.

  • Experience with large complex project management and strong process orientation.

  • Strong relationship building skills and ability to work in a team oriented collaborative environment.

  • Experience working in a cross functional environment, facilitating interactions with multiple departments.

  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, both as an individual and as a team member.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (including MS Project) required.
