WesleyLife at Home's In-Home Services department provides non-medical assistance wherever our clients call home so they can continue to live a life full of purpose and joy. From assistance with activities of daily living to light housekeeping to shopping and errands to just about anything you can think of, our Home Care Aides can provide a set of helping hands. We are proud to serve clients in 15 Iowa counties: Adair, Audubon, Boone, Cass, Dallas, Guthrie, Hamilton, Jasper, Marion, Marshall, Polk, Poweshiek, Story, Warren, and Washington.

A Typical Day for our Sales Specialist for In-Home Services:

  • Travel in all weather and to all areas the In-Home Services department serves.

  • Respond to referrals promptly and complete the full-cycle intake process for client services, ensuring all documentation is completed according to department requirements.

  • Conduct sales and marketing activities to promote the In-Home Services department.

  • Plan and execute event marketing strategies to increase brand awareness.

  • Engage with potential clients through public speaking and presentations.

  • Communicate effectively to educate clients about service features and benefits.

  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.

  • Assist in conducting market research to identify target demographics and develop marketing campaigns.

  • Generate referrals to meet goals.

  • Obtain referrals from new and existing referral sources.

  • Research and participate in health and wellness fairs and attend community events.

  • Build relationships, receive referrals, and promote the In-Home Services department with hospitals, independent living communities, assisted living communities, skilled nursing facilities, community organizations, clinics, and physician practices.

  • Follow up on leads and referrals from caregivers, family members, and other sources.

  • Develop client experience events to promote the In-Home Services department.

Compensation:

  • The pay range for this position is $55,036 - $69,347 / year. An incentive program will also be offered. Starting pay rate will be based on years of experience.

Our ideal candidate will have an active book of home care business in Des Moines and surrounding areas, established healthcare community and professional contacts in Des Moines and surrounding areas, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong public speaking skills.
