Our client in the Latrobe area is looking for a Customer Service Representative and it is a contract to hire position. Pay is $18-$22, dependent on experience. Business casual and hours for this position will be : 8:00AM – 4:30PM, 1 hour lunch

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Learn to identify customer needs or desires in order to recommend the appropriate product or service.

• Learn the ERP system used by the company to process orders, enter invoices, and run multiple reports.

• Work with colleagues when necessary to resolve customer complaints.

• Provide feedback to other departments to help improve sales, marketing, and business processes.

• Learn about the products inside and out to be able to answer any questions from customers.

• Attention to detail to be able to provide written/verbal communication to customers.

• Strong organizational skills to be able to keep up with various customer needs and conduct follow-ups in a timely manner.

Job Requirements:

• Responsible for receiving sales orders and coordinating the shipment of products

• Monitor inventory and respond to sales inquiries

• Microsoft Office proficient

Requirements • Candidates must possess proven experience in the customer service field, preferably within the manufacturing industry.

• The role requires a high level of patience and empathy when dealing with customers.

• Applicants should be willing to participate in training and development programs to enhance their skills and adapt to changes in the industry.

• Candidates should be familiar with industry regulations and standards related to customer service in the manufacturing sector.

• The role requires flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays, depending on the business needs.

• High school diploma or equivalent is essential; a bachelor's degree or further education in a related field would be advantageous.
