Are you detail-oriented and passionate about quality assurance? Join our team as a General Inspector, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards.

What you will do:

  • Precision Testing: Utilize hand tools and electronic test equipment to meticulously test products, ensuring they adhere to specified dimensions and electrical resistance as outlined in our manufacturing drawings and specifications.

  • Quality Assurance: Accurately document inspection results on the parts documentation sheet, identifying products that meet or fail to meet our stringent quality standards.

  • Proactive Problem Solving: Anticipate and prevent potential issues by closely monitoring and analyzing product performance, ensuring consistency and reliability.

  • Timely Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections efficiently to maintain the flow of quality parts within our production timeline.

  • Dimensional Conformance: Measure products using rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers to verify they meet the specified dimensions in the drawings and specifications.

  • Electrical Testing: Test products with ohmmeters, multimeters, or dielectric/insulation resistance test equipment to ensure they conform to electrical specifications.

  • Visual Inspection: Conduct visual inspections to confirm products meet the outlined drawings and specifications.

  • Data Recording: Accurately record inspection and test data, including weights, dimensions, resistance, and quantities inspected, accepted, and rejected.

  • Product Disposition: Make accept/reject decisions based on product conformance to drawings and specifications.

  • Problem Notification and Resolution: Notify supervisors and other personnel of production issues, assisting in the identification and correction of these problems.

  • Carcass Inspection: Inspect carcasses to ensure compliance with standards.

  • Documentation: Complete all documentation accurately in the computerized tracking system.

  • Performance Metrics: Drive plant performance by focusing on safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics.

  • Work Area Maintenance: Keep the work area clean and organized to facilitate process flow improvements.

  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Additional Duties: Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications you must have:

  • A minimum education requirement of High School Diploma or GED is required

  • Have experience reading blueprints and specification sheets

  • Perform work in a safe manner and completes all required safety trainings

  • Must have the ability to work any shifts and overtime including weekends
