Job Summary
The Registered Nurse in the Med-Surg Unit is accountable for the safe, individualized, efficient, and effective management and delivery of nursing care for hospitalized inpatients and hospital-based outpatients.
Education and/or Experience
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required.
Acute hospital setting experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
Licensed as a registered nurse in the State of Minnesota required upon hire.
Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within one year of hire.
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required within one year of hire.
Work Schedule
Day/Night shifts, every third weekend, every third holiday; 48 hours every 2 weeks
4 - 12 hours shifts every 2 weeks
