Position: HVAC Commercial Installer

Location: Twin Falls, ID

Shift: Monday Friday - 7:00am to 5:00pm

Compensation: \$18.00 - \$34.00 depending on experience

Position Type:Full-time

Job Description:

The commercial installer will be responsible for installing new heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems including packaged rooftop units, split systems, evaporative coolers, exhaust fans, water heaters, ductless and controls.

  • Install commercial HVAC equipment\ o Heating, ventilation & air conditioning systems\ o Rooftop units\ o Split systems\ o Evaporative coolers\ o Exhaust fans\ o Water heaters
  • Install all ducting and sheet metal including rooftop curbs and curb adaptors, sheet metal plenums, distribution boxes, cans, grills and registers, flue piping, etc.
  • Ability to verify adequate electrical HVAC system including disconnects, circuit breakers and fuses are sufficient and properly sized
  • Run thermostat and other electrical wiring as required
  • Knowledge of refrigerant, gas and electric furnaces, heat pumps to be able to install and troubleshoot commercial systems up to 20 tons.
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Other duties as assigned.

What we are looking for:

  • At least two years HVAC experience
  • Must have a valid EPA certification.
  • Must have valid drivers license, and a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 100lbs
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools.
  • Self-Motivated
  • Able to measure duck work and install all equipment accessories
  • The ability to read blueprints
  • Able to complete simple low-voltage and high-voltage connections on furnaces, air handlers, and air conditioners
  • Knowledge of HVAC parts and their functions.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Physically capable of performing duties that include standing for long periods, walking, and climbing
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Basic Math skills.
  • Must be able to meet short deadlines with the ability to work variable hours when a project requires.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal directions as given.
