Position Overview:

DWT has an immediate need for Web Developer (on-site position). Under minimal supervision, responsible foranalyzing business requirements and designing solutions to meet those requirements. They will also be responsible for testing, implementing, and maintaining software applications and systems to improve business processes.

Key Job Duties:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and identify opportunities for process improvement
• Develop detailed requirements and use cases for software development projects
• Conduct research to identify new technologies and methods to improve business processes
• Analyze and troubleshoot software issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions
• Develop and maintain documentation such as user manuals, training materials, and technical specifications
• Using PHP MySQL to develop various web application to help improve productivity and project management.
• Maintain and improve company internal website.
• Provide backup IT desktop support (desktop and network support) as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelors in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Experience with PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, C# preferred
• Experience with Sage preferred
• Experience with both front-end GUI and backend database preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
• Participate in software testing and quality assurance activities
• Communicate project status and progress to team members and stakeholders
• Provide support to end-users and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Knowledge of software development methodologies and programming languages
• Experience with software testing and quality assurance
• Familiarity with project management tools and techniques
• Understanding of Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
• Knowledge of SQL and database management systems
• Onsite position
