Basic Job Functions:
The role of the District Sales Manager is to lead the sales and marketing efforts for The Nucor Plate Group in support of taking care of our customers. This position will require extensive travel. Must be willing to relocate. The successful candidate will be responsible for quoting and securing business: spot and contract, providing forecasts, and recommending new business and customers. Supporting the Plate Groups strategic growth initiatives as well as Nucors Commercial Excellence and Nucor enterprise initiatives are essential. Minimum Qualifications:
Four year degree or equivalent work experience
Willingness to travel extensively
Four years of steel sales experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a Business-related field
Steel plate sales experience
