We are currently seeking a skilled Aerospace Assembly Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling various aerospace components and sub-assemblies with precision and attention to detail. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications, and a commitment to quality and safety. If you match with this job now!

salary: $16 - $18 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Perform aerospace component assembly according to engineering drawings and specifications.

• Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to assemble parts and sub-assemblies.

• Ensure all assembled components meet quality standards and specifications.

• Conduct inspections and tests to verify the functionality and integrity of assembled components.

• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot assembly issues and implement solutions.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety protocols and procedures.

• Document assembly processes, procedures, and quality control measures.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 10 hours at one time

• working weekends

Skills

• Blue print Reading (1 year of experience is preferred)

• Assembly (2 years of experience is preferred)

• Verbal Communication

• Writing - Documentation

• Written Communication

• Years of experience: 1 year

• Experience level: Experienced
