Grundfos Italy is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer for Milano and province to join its Italian DBS Sales team. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for executing tactical sales plans and activities in line with the overall sales plans and strategy of the company.

What is the job about?

• Develop a designated customer base including preparation plans, budgets and promotional activities.

• Identify and develop new business with the potential to use Grundfos products and services.

• Identify and implement value-added services and enhance customer relationship.

• Develop and maintain a strong project pipeline.

• Gather market data and provide input on competitors activities.

• Register and nurture opportunities in the global CRM tool according to company guidelines

• Ensure customer master data is updated on portfolio of customers under their responsibility.

What do you need to apply?

• Must be a Bachelor’s Degree graduate, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or similar, with at least 2 years of experience of proven track record in sales.

• Preferably has exposure to the Pump Industry/wholesaler plumbing market.

• Good presentation and influencing/negotiation skills.

• Good interpersonal ability and networking skills. Should be able to operate independently with minimal supervision.

• Must have the ability to listen and demonstrate good command of Italian and English languages, both spoken and written. Proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels both within the company and in the sales field.
