Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Data Analyst in the Construction/Contractor industry, located in Towson, Maryland, United States. This role primarily involves developing comprehensive reports and interactive dashboards, creating and managing robust data pipelines, and addressing complex data challenges. As a Data Analyst, you will be pivotal in facilitating data-driven decision-making and optimizing analytical processes.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into data dashboards and report solutions.

• Identify and implement internal process improvements to automate manual processes and optimize data delivery.

• Assist with the development, building, monitoring, and maintenance of systems, including performance tuning, troubleshooting, and capacity estimation.

• Support and maintain Business Intelligence functionality.

• Design and develop prototypes of scalable, secure, and high-performing data architectures on-prem and in the cloud, leveraging cloud technologies and services.

• Utilize SQL, NoSQL, and unstructured databases, such as SQL Server and Oracle in day-to-day tasks.

• Develop Business Intelligence tools, with a strong focus on Power BI.

• Ensure the implementation of data governance principles and best practices, including data quality controls, data privacy, and compliance.

• Optimize data platforms for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency, monitoring and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in cloud technologies and data architecture, continuously enhancing knowledge and skills.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth.

• Act as a subject matter expert in data architecture and cloud technologies, providing recommendations and insights to stakeholders. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a data analyst role, preferably within the construction or contractor industry

• Proficiency in Cloud Technologies is required

• Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is necessary

• Must possess strong skills in database management

• Knowledge of EO/IR systems is a must

• Proficiency in Epicor software is required

• Must have experience in AB Testing

• Must understand and be able to execute Business Process Functions

• Experience in creating and managing Business Requirement Documents is necessary

• Must have knowledge and experience in Change Management

• Configuration Management skills are required
