Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the Vehicle Safety Testing and Manufacturing industry located in Torrance, California. The role involves an experienced Sr. Accountant to join our team. The workplace primarily requires the use of QuickBooks, Excel, and Fishbowl software.

Responsibilities:

• Administering general ledger reconciliations and journal entries

• Conducting account and balance sheet reconciliations

• Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Managing fixed assets and conducting bank reconciliations

• Assisting in audits and month-end close procedures

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for various tasks including Vlookups, Pivot tables, and Sumifs

• Applying skills in NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for various accounting functions

• Ensuring accurate customer credit records and processing customer credit applications effectively

• Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions as required Requirements • Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or a related field

• Proficiency in account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation is required

• Experience with bank reconciliations is essential

• An understanding of general ledger management is necessary

• Must be adept at making journal entries

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required

• Experience with month-end close processes is necessary

• Knowledge of NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP is required

• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Attention to detail and accuracy are necessary

• Must have strong organizational and time management skills

• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required

• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

• Knowledge of current financial regulations and standards is necessary

• Must have a strong ethical standard and integrity.
