About the Team

Come help build our tax engine with cutting edge technology. As a co-op student, you will learn how government forms are translated into code to enable our users to calculate their tax returns, build/update and run test cases and much more! We are a fast paced, but friendly and relaxed team (work life balance is more than encouraged!) Leverage your tax and tech knowledge to make an impact on the lives of our customers!

Requirements for the role

  • To be eligible for the role you must align with the following:

  • Currently enrolled in post secondary education

  • A graduation date of no earlier than 4 months after the internship/co-op concludes

  • Not require sponsorship to work within the role now or in the future

  • Come in 2x per week to our Toronto office (all of our co-op roles are hybrid)

What you'll bring

Qualifications

  • You're currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree seeking program

  • You're interested in tax, data, and software development - preferably pursuing a degree related to Accounting/Tax/CPA

  • Have an overview understanding of the Canadian personal income tax system and standards

  • Some coding & data analysis experience (great to have but not required, C++, Python, SQL)

  • You're passionate about learning and are ready to take on new challenges every day
