As the Manager, Strategic Insights & Portfolio Management, you will contribute to the overall success of Retail Mutual Funds, Retail Deposits and Investments in Canada by ensuring specific individual goals, plans and initiatives are delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. You will also ensure all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
Champion a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge
Play a critical role in portfolio performance management which includes dynamic forecasting, annual planning, evaluating monthly business results, portfolio cost and expense re-distribution, and reviewing monthly and quarterly performance of the Retail Mutual Funds portfolio
Serve as a key partner of the Retail Mutual funs product management team by providing actionable insights for campaign analysis, revenue sizing of new initiatives, and impact of potential pricing changes
Manage or support strategic projects and ad-hoc assignments in partnership with the business line, Finance, Analytics, Retail Channel and external partners using a quantitative and data-driven approach
Monitor, assess, and evaluate portfolio trends and provide an ongoing insight on KPIs which are important for Mutual Funds to achieve its annual portfolio growth targets
Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:
Post-secondary education or higher in commerce, business, economics, finance or analytics
Prior experience in the financial services industry in product P&L management, finance and/or business analytics
A good understanding of Mutual Funds products and the distribution, services and processes
Strong analytical and communication skills
Advanced experience using MS Office products including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
Working experience with SAS, SQL and/or other analytical tools
