What You’ll Be Doing

You'll join our Analytics & Decision Science team reporting to the Senior Director, Data and Reporting. As the Director, Frontline, Insurance and Business Banking, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development of reporting solutions in support of the strategic and tactical priorities of Personal and Business Banking (PBB). Using combined business, technical, and data focused background, you will utilize a team of experts to transform numbers and data into meaningful insights via reports (PowerBI, databricks, SAS EG), dashboards (Tableau), and self-serve analytical tools (Thoughtspot).

How You’ll Succeed

  • Consult – Partner with various leaders within PBB to discover and articulate reporting needs; define business intelligence opportunities, and champion the use of data and reporting to improve overall decision making.

  • People Leadership – Lead and coach a high performing group team of individuals. Direct, motivate, and develop your team, maximizing their contributions and professional growth. Share knowledge and collaborate to come up with effective solutions to problems.

  • Align – Find ways to standardize KPIs and Reporting across product lines to promote the concept of “One Team”.

  • Visualize - Think outside the box to determine how to effectively communicate results while balancing consistency standards across all product within the Secure Lending.

  • Develop – Implement new and innovative ways of evaluating performance so our key business partners can better identify drivers of efficiency, profitability, and performance.

  • Optimize – Streamline existing performance reporting solutions and processes to improve overall efficiency and reduce “time to delivery”.

  • Automate – Identify opportunities to reduce manual efforts in order to deliver more accurate/consistent output while gaining an increase in workload capacity.

  • Balance – Promote a balance between self-serve data and analytics against standardized reporting across products within a reliable and fully accessible reporting portal.

  • Organize – Partner with technology groups to effectively structure and organize our master data so that it can be utilized effectively.

Who You Are

  • You can demonstrate experience. In data analytics and/or data science.Personal & Business Banking (PBB) line of business experience in the banking sector. Proficiency with SAS, Python, PowerBI, Tableau, SQL. 1+ years of people leadership experience leading and managing a team.

  • You can demonstrate knowledge. Understanding and working knowledge of product and systems such as business banking, insurance, and banking front-line systems.
