Amazon Sr. Marketing Manager, Seller Growth, Amazon Fashion Marketplace in Tokyo, Japan

Description

We are seeking a growth minded marketer to own the acceleration of high-potential brands on Amazon. Amazon is a marketplace for millions of sellers who are looking to grow their business; this role will be responsible for identifying sellers with high potential to grow, building strategy for marketing those sellers on and off Amazon, working with a network of stakeholders to deploy that strategy before measuring initiatives and optimizing for scaling success. A successful candidate will be data-led, fast-paced, capable of building a well informed strategy to address difficult problems and forging strong relationships amongst their stakeholders as well as their team.

Key job responsibilities

• Build mechanisms such as research reports and BI models to identify sellers with growth opportunities

• Develop strategy in collaboration with stakeholders to address the identified growth opportunities for sellers

• Effectively communicate strategy, verbally and in writing, to business and finance leadership

• Manage end-to-end execution of multiple projects and campaigns, tracking and reporting on key milestones

• Build mechanisms to measure performance and communicate insights

• Earn trust from internal and external partners, balancing contending priorities in a rapidly changing environment

• Work with regional and global teams to share ideas, best practice and results to contribute other market’s growth

About the team

The Amazon Marketplace is a critical part of the Amazon consumer business which offers millions of sellers the opportunity to build and grow their business using Amazon’s reach and expertise. Sellers are our customers and we help them to sell their products to hundreds of millions of customers world-wide. We are looking for a talented marketer to drive our Seller programs.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • 6+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

  • Business level English and Japanese

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners

  • Knowledge of SQL at the intermediate level
