Position:

Senior Automotive Software Engineer

Job Description:

Avelabs (an arrow company), a leading automotive software engineering services provider, is seeking a skilled Resident Engineer to join our team in Tokyo, Japan. This role involves working closely with our customer's brake business unit system team. The successful candidate will bridge the gap between system and software teams, performing debugging, and issue resolution for our delivered software packages.

Responsibilities :

• Collaborate closely with the system team to understand project specifications and requirements.

• Review and clarify system requirements to ensure they are complete and feasible, facilitating clear communication between involved parties.

• Act as a liaison between system and software teams to ensure alignment and integration of software deliverables.

• Perform thorough debugging and troubleshooting to address software issues and enhance system performance.

• Deliver comprehensive support and technical expertise to enhance software package functionality and reliability.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, specifically in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields such as Electrical Engineering or Systems Engineering

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the automotive industry.

• Experience with AUTOSAR stack configuration and Integration.

• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently to resolve complex software issues.

• Experience with ASPICE system/software development processes and methodologies.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Proficient in software debugging and issue resolution.

• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

Fluency in both English and Japanese is essential to communicate effectively with teams and stakeholders.

• Fluency in Japanese is a Must.

• Fluency in English is a Must.
