As a BDR (Business Development Representative), you will be primarily responsible for the initial stages of sales activities. BDRs are responsible for providing the sales force with more opportunities for high quality business meetings by utilizing communication tools such as phone, email, and chat with prospects generated by the marketing team, as well as their own prospect lists. In order to do this effectively, we will also provide a program to build product knowledge and improve core sales skills through daily sales activities and structured training. This position is a key role in technology sales, serving as the first touch point with our customers. This is a goal-oriented, results-driven position where you can leverage your IT experience and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced industry.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and cold-call prospective clients to obtain sufficient inquiries in terms of quantity and quality

  • Appropriate qualification of prospects identified by the marketing team

  • Execute operations to meet and exceed sales targets (KPI's)

  • Identify and communicate with key personnel at the C-level via phone, email, social networking, etc.

  • Analyze business needs of prospects, understand processes and determine requirements

  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of all NetSuite solution functionality

  • Communicate and build relationships with stakeholders within the organization as needed to execute the business
