We are recruiting a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team of health care professionals. As a Shipping & Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for efficient order fulfillment and shipment. Job type: Full-time Pay Range: $18.31 - $22.89 hourly, depending on experience. Benefits: Competitive pay Flexible PTO and paid company holidays Medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance 401(k) match Position responsibilities: Understand and execute all product flow and order fulfillment processes. Review daily orders for accuracy; identify and correct errors. Maintain current product knowledge in order to receive shipments and process orders accurately. Pull, pick, and fill customer orders. Receive shipments and review for accuracy. Place inventory items in proper warehouse location. Process shipping labels and stage for pick-up. Restock picking station. Receive and process customer returns. Maintain physical plant, equipment and supplies in pharmacy facilities. Maintain a safe, clean professional work environment. Represent the pharmacy in a professional and courteous manner in all job-related activities. Assist with maintaining adequate inventory levels, inventory handling, space allocation and order efficiency; inform supervisor of items to be ordered. Inventory counting and reporting. Report any misconduct, suspicious or unethical activities to the Compliance Officer. Participate in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies. Participate in the pharmacy’s Performance Improvement program as requested by the Performance Improvement Coordinator. Participate in pharmacy committees when requested. Participate in in-service education programs provided by the pharmacy. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Required skills: High school diploma or equivalent GED. Experience with warehouse operation is preferred. Pharmacy Technician license preferred. Organizational skills sufficient to maintain consistently accurate records. Ability to evaluate options and to make efficient decisions. Effective interpersonal, time management and organizational skills. Proficient in computer skills that include use of spreadsheets, internet, word processing, and e-mail. Our ideal candidate has: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively collaborate in a team setting. Proficiency in standard workplace software and/or information management applications. Prior experience working in an infusion pharmacy or healthcare setting. Ability to navigate computer applications. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
