To learn more, visit our benefits and perks page. __ Position Overview:The Vice President, IT Delivery will lead a global IT team who is responsible for modernizing our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and applications as they relate to our Order-to-Cash/Procure-to-Pay capabilities. This role requires a visionary who can set strategy and design, integrate, and implement technology solutions aligned with organizational goals, opportunities, and future growth initiatives. The VP, IT Delivery is responsible for anticipating and ensuring all necessary IT systems, tools, and applications are in place and secure to support DigiKey's technological and operational infrastructure relating to Order-to-Cash/Procure-to-Pay. This position works collaboratively as a member of the IT Senior Leadership Team and acts as a technologist and business expert to communicate, educate, influence, and transform. This role will have responsibility for developing, administering, monitoring, and coordinating their area-specific technology budget, as well as decision-making related to technology needs throughout Order-to-Cash/Procure-to-Pay impacted departments and programs across the organization. Responsibilities: Provide strategic leadership and direction for the selection, implementation, and ongoing management of internal and third-party ERP systems and applications with a focus on maximizing the value of our investments Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive ERP technology roadmap, aligned with overall business goals and objectives Partner with business stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs and identify how our ERP system & applications can be leveraged to improve efficiency, productivity, and decision making Oversee the application development lifecycle for all ERP-related applications, including needs assessment, solution design, development, testing, deployment, integration and ongoing support Manage a team of technology leaders, engineers/developers, and analysts; building the talent and digital capability in critical enterprise-wide projects such as Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Integrated Supply Chain organizations to lead across these emerging spaces Ensure the effective governance and security of all ERP systems & applications, including data integrity and access control Stay abreast of the latest trends and innovations in ERP technology Work in partnership with key (Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Integrated Supply Chain) stakeholders to develop business cases and prioritize the relevant investment portfolio. Share accountability with stakeholders to measure outcomes to ensure maximum value realized from existing and new investments. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and partners Manage the technology budget specific to your area and ensure efficient resource allocation Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the ERP modernization strategy Excel in project management, delivering projects on time, within budget, and in alignment with strategic business goals Ensure all programs, policies and procedures are in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements This role is not an essential onsite role; it follows Leader onsite requirements for DigiKey's Hybrid and Remote Wor model. Typical travel is up to 40% of time. The preferred candidate would live in Minnesota. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or similar area of study OR equivalent, relevant work experience 15+ years' experience leading and managing teams responsible for requirements gathering, solution design, development and support of ERP and business applications (off-the-shelf/custom) Demonstrated dynamic leadership qualities and experience of an organization consisting of 100+ team members including directors, managers, team leaders, and individual contributors spread out across multiple global locations Vast experience and expertise in leading major ERP implementations and support in global deployments Broad understanding of Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay business capabilities including order management/supply chain, finance, and procurement Demonstrated experience working with and managing the execution of managed service suppliers (MSPs) Proven experience with creating and managing outsourced relationships, both domestic and global Experience in the design, implementation, and support of high impact, large financial investment, and mission-critical projects in unstructured environments Strong financial acumen; understanding of financial performance metrics, budgeting and forecasting processes and impacts. Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to develop effective working relationships with others across the organization, with demonstrated customer focus, teamwork skills, and a willingness to share technical and business knowledge with team members Demonstrated success working with senior leadership & executive teams to establish strategic direction, operating policies, and to aid in major project planning Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or similar area of study OR equivalent, relevant work experience Software application experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud, Salesforce Distribution, eCommerce or Electronics industry experience Strong contract negotiation skills required, and experience making decisions and recommendations on purchases that will increase the quality of services while decreasing cost of delivery Physical Requirements: Generally, spend the workday sitting at a workstation and operating computer devices, such as, but not limited to keyboard, mouse, and screen Often traverse between various areas across large facilities .
