Description

We are seeking a Tax Accountant for a company based in The Woodlands, Texas. The role is contract and involves providing face-to-face customer service, as well as reviewing and preparing income tax returns.

Responsibilities:

Review client financial reports and tax related statements

Prepare and review income tax returns and related forms

File tax returns

Provide excellent customer service to clients and handle their inquiries

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field is preferred

• Proficient in accounting and tax software

• Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations

• Strong customer service skills

• Experience in preparing income tax returns

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
