Robert Half General Office Clerk in the Woodlands, Texas

Description We are looking for a proficient General Office Clerk to join our team located in The Woodlands, Texas. This role will primarily focus on handling financial documents and executing a range of office tasks. The successful candidate will also be expected to manage telephone communications, organize paperwork, and handle data entry tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and process financial documents meticulously

• Execute general office tasks such as filing, typing, and organizing paperwork

• Handle incoming calls and respond to inquiries professionally

• Perform data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency

• Manage email correspondence ensuring timely and appropriate responses

• Utilize Microsoft Suite to perform tasks and manage data

• Maintain a high level of organization to ensure smooth office operations

• Use your skills in MS Word to create and manage documents

• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing work as necessary. Requirements • Applicant must have a strong proficiency in data entry tasks.

• Mastery of MS Word is a requirement for this role.

• The role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Applicant should have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience in a general office clerk role is preferred but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, scanners, and fax machines is advantageous.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload efficiently is necessary.

• Applicant should have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

• Excellent time management skills and punctuality are expected.

• High school diploma or equivalent is a minimum educational requirement.

• A positive attitude and professional demeanor are essential in this role.

• Experience in maintaining and updating filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems is beneficial.

• Applicant should be capable of effectively responding to and resolving administrative inquiries and questions.

• Knowledge and experience in creating and distributing office correspondence, such as memos and letters, is advantageous.

• Proficiency in other Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and PowerPoint is beneficial.
