The Requirements
Possess strong work ethic with a desire to improve yourself through your work
Minimum of 5 years software development experience
Demonstratable competency in C#, Typescript with experience working with .NET Core, Angular 8+ and Python(desirable).
Hands-on commercial experience in Azure cloud
Experience using Azure DevOps
Experience mentoring and guiding team members
Experience with all phases of the SDLC including maintenance and with Agile methodologies
Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a broader project team
First-rate communication skills and ability to apply these to rapid and creative problem solving
Desirable:
Experience with microservice based architectures
Experience understanding and translating complex business processes involving stakeholder groups and perspectives
Experience of working in a financial services organisation, preferably with exposure to the insurance industry/insurance broking. Where this directly relevant experience is not available, we will be looking for an ability to rapidly become effective in a new, unfamiliar environment
The successful applicant will report to the Risk Technology Solutions Engineering Lead. The role offers hybrid working with travel to office expected on a regular cadence.
