About the Position: Red River Army Depot (RRAD) is located in northeast Texas, 19 miles west of Texarkana and approximately 170 miles northeast of Dallas. Responsibilities Provide guidance on accounting procedures of personal property to depot and tentative activities to remain in compliance. Review property book items to ensure that all designated property is properly accounted for. Advise Hand Receipt Holders (HRH) on corrective measure to improve accuracy of property accountability. Conduct training to ensure all Hand Receipt Holders (HRH) are properly appointed. Conduct site visits through the year to ensure Command Supply Discipline Program (CSDP) is in compliance with regulations. Develop reports to include charts, graphs, and diagrams of work methods for presentation of improvement of operations. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Conducting inventory to ensure assigned property is accounted for; 2) Conducting research on supply program to resolve inventory deficiencies; AND 3) Utilizing database programs to manage property book items. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Supply Chain Management or Business Management. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
