Raytheon is seeking a Senior System Engineer to join our System Integration team. Integration and Test engineers are responsible for interconnecting subsystems, identifying and resolving system level issues that may stem from software or hardware anomalies, and developing automated or operator-driven tests in support of system-level requirements verification.

What You Will Do

• Support system level radar or weapon systems integration planning, execution, and reporting

• Prepare integration documentation, such as plans, procedures, and integration information sheets

• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues

• Analyze data for hardware, software, and simulations

• Utilize data analysis results to support issue identification and resolution as well as system level requirements verification

• Collaborate across engineering functions to drive performance and resolve issues

• Interfacing with internal and external customers, and finding technical solutions to complex requirements

• Generate technical documentation in support of requirements integration and verification

• Schedule flexibility to support integration and test activities during 2nd shift in Pelham

• Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally up to 25% of the time.

Qualifications You Must Have (Max 5 bullets)

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.

• Experience in software or systems integration and verification

• Experience with MATLAB

• Active and transferable US government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. US citizenship is required, as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience in development of test scripts and automation techniques or methodologies

• Experience with programming in C/C++, Python, or other programming language

• Experience with DOORS or a related database for requirements management and linking requirements to test procedures

• Experience with network configurations and troubleshooting

• Experience with Linux/UNIX command line

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
