Medtronic Senior Product Engineer in Tempe, Arizona

In this role, you will be responsible for the Wafer and Sensor Operations released product portfolio. Products include implantable cardiac monitors and hybrid components leveraged in pacemakers and defibrillators. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless functionality and quality of our products as they are shipped to our patients. You will work closely with a cross functional team to evaluate risk and implement changes to further improve the products. From overseeing manufacturing processes to conducting rigorous testing, your expertise will be critical in maintaining consistency and excellence in our product offerings. A Day in the Life

  • Evaluate the product impact of any non-conformances or changes implemented into production.

  • Conduct comprehensive failure analysis on yield fallout or field returns to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.

  • Manage projects across the product portfolio to drive closure on quality issues or yield fallout, focusing on minimizing product costs.

  • Collaborate closely with internal and external suppliers, operations, process engineering, quality assurance teams, and other organizational units to identify and mitigate risks affecting the product portfolio.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's Degree in in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or similar discipline.

  • Experience with product failure analysis.

  • Project Management experience.

The provided base salary range is used nationally (except in certain CA locations). The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
