• Work with marketing and product management teams to define product technical requirements.
• Take ownership of ensuring that designs and processes integrate effectively and co-evolve as necessary to meet product requirements
• Provide leadership direction on variety of projects as needed.
• Creates engineering documentation and helps with CAD files for ambiguous or open ended instructions to satisfy order requirements.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and work through Design team to build prototypes, alpha and beta products.
• Establish and maintain tight feedback loop between manufacturing and design, and ensure manufacturing feedback is integrated into future designs.
• Provide support during the validation at customers location.
• Lead in precision design, tolerance and error budgets, and product development.
• Define and drive internal characterization and reliability test. Support product engineering validation at customers.
• Support of the factory floor, such as troubleshooting and disposition of rejects, determining root cause of production issues, and providing training to production personnel.
• Drive product engineering continuous improvement projects. Support manufacturing or field service on product issues.
• Provides technical guidance in the development of product strategy.
• Collaborates closely with other members of the operations and development staff, including management, supply chain, production personnel and engineering.
• Take responsibility for form, fit, function, ease of manufacturing, and cost effectiveness of designs.
• Participate in project management operations review and technical forums.
• Represent the company in worldwide seminars and forum.
• Support sales and field applications on technical questions.
• Exercise judgement and decision making within defined procedures and practices.

Masters degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or in a related field and 12 months experience in job offered or as a Project engineer, Process engineer, Test Engineer or in a related occupation. Travel is local
