The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.

Job Summary:

Will be responsible for executing the Change Management process. Must be proficient in change management and a good communicator to work across all technical areas that use Change Management process.

Major Responsibilities

  • Organize and chair Change Advisory Board (CAB)

  • Organize and chair release technical assessment; publish release package

  • Execute the Change Management process including the risk assessment of changes

  • Coordinate change planning and the implementation process; publish forward of change schedules

  • Ensure the identification of root cause and resolution of unsuccessful changes.

  • Gather information and track status of all change requests and release implementations

  • Investigate and document any impacts, including scheduling risks, of all projects that will introduce change to the production environments

  • Mediate all conflicts regarding scheduling, lack of approval, or lack of documentation prior to implementation of the change

  • Coordinate with incident management, problem management, release management, and configuration management to ensure correct and consistent data is provided to the change processes

  • Distribute the change schedules within agreed timeframes

  • Ensure closure and archiving of completed change requests

  • Communicate technical change activities and impact to broader IT clients, providing tool and systems support; performance data reporting, issues, and review follow-up

  • Perform other duties as required such as ITIL process implementation support

  • Provide regular, robust, and accurate reporting on change requests, including exception reporting on high impact, aborted, and unauthorized changes to identify process deficiencies and adverse trends in change practices and implementation of change

Qualifications

  • Bachelors’ DegreeControl Objectives for Information and Related Technologies (COBIT) framework practitioner or certification a plus.

  • ITIL Certifications a plus

  • 5-7 years’ experience with execution and application of change management processes and procedures

  • Understanding of Change Management process utilizing ServiceNow

  • Experience with the integration of CMDB and the change management process

  • Experience with the generation and presentation of change management reporting / metrics to business and technical organizations

  • Understanding of Project Management methodologies, Software development lifecycle (SDLC), Release Management, DevOps, Agile, and Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD)

  • Solid understanding of regulatory compliance directives affecting banking

  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Change Management, Control, and Validation certificate is preferred

  • Communicates effectively

  • Identifies multiple paths to success using analytical and critical thinking as well as decision-making skills

  • Operates strategically to support a culture of continuous improvement and systems thinking

  • Makes sound business decisions in a complex work environment

  • Collaborates with other business functions and divisions to advance business objectives

The typical base pay range for this role is between $95K - $120K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
