The SIOP process is a key factor for the Company, as it is the base to a successful rollout of Sales and Operation Planning in the Region. The SIOP Leader is a strategic thinking person that is defining the overall processes, teams, metrics and tools to ensure the success of the SIOP process and the strategy for continuos improvement, IT tools developement and process standardization.

What you’ll do:

  • Work with plants and regional leadership and materials management, finance, customer service, sales and market inteligence team to lead and navigate SIOP process through 5 steps of SIOP: Portfolio Management, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Integrated Reconcilations, Executive Review.

  • Lead Integration process: create a final realistic Sales, Inventory and Capacity Plan for rolling 12 months, developing gap-closing actions vs prior SIOP cycle and Profit Plan.

  • Discuss and define capacity Plan with Plants, and then deploy and validate Capacity Plan for VG EMEA for 12 months.

  • Drive Inventory results of the Plants to ensure DOH and Gross Inventory goal are met. Lead inventory calls with EMEA Plants to address issues and resolve gaps. Create and publish Inventory report out to be reviewed during Executive meeting.

  • Lead projects focused on getting Standardization and Process optimization of Demand, Inventory, Internal and Supplier’s Capacity for the Region. Provide directions which tools have to be utilized to get Materials Excellence and Continuous Improvement, both at Regional and at Plant level.

  • Track and report weekly EMEA Backorder status, getting feedbacks from plants Materials Teams on driving causes and gap-closure plans. Track and report Regional Premium Freights weekly flash with root causes analysis. Update monthly Forecast Accuracy% tool for EMEA Region and reporting results by Plants.

  • Lead Intercompany SIOP in the region and represent region in Global Intercompany SIOP meetings.

  • Deploy, accordingly with Plant priorities, Supplier Vis and digitalization tools across the Region.

  • Play a key and active role on improvement and avoidance of E&O Inventory for EMEA Region.

  • Be steward to Materials Management Excellence in the region as well as participate in Materials Management Actions and track OFI.

  • Develop with IT new Business Intelligence reports and ERP functionalities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, SCM, Logistics, Business or related fields.

  • Minimum of 10 years’ recent and proven experience within a Logistic environment and/or Materials Function.

Skills:

  • Fluency English. Any other European languages would be a plus.

  • Excellent ability in building relationships at all levels. Must be able to effectively work in a matrix organization.

  • Commercial sensitivity, business acumen and judgment skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, in particular strong ability to effectively communicate with Top Managers.

  • Excellent planning, organizing and prioritizing.

  • Excellent decision making / problem solving capabilities.

  • Ability to use own initiative.

  • Proven agility skills to interact inside multicultural organizations and cross-functional teams.

  • Focus on process-driven continuous improvement.
