Must have the following to apply:

  • Experience working in a law firm or professional services preferred

**Job Description: Assists Payroll Manager in performing activities necessary to process semi-monthly and monthly payrolls, auditing payroll reports post-processing. Assists the benefits area with the administration of all benefits and retirement programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, and 401(k) plan. Work involves confidentiality, attention to detail and working under general supervision.

Duties and Responsibility:**

  • Provide back-up support for all HR roles/functions
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records
  • Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions
  • Assist the Payroll Manager in processing Semi-monthly and Monthly payrolls
  • Process payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data
  • Review and reconcile payroll information to detect and reconcile any discrepancies
  • Process new hire and terminations as directed
  • Process and manage the weekly non-exempt timesheets in Dayforce
  • Process initiations or changes to employee personal information, tax profile changes, benefit elections, and 401k contributions
  • Prepare semi-monthly and monthly reports
  • Process unemployment insurance inquiries and employment verification requests
  • Assist in year-end processes
  • Respond to calls and emails pertaining to payroll and benefit inquiries
  • Assists employees regarding benefits claim issues and plan changes
  • Assists with leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork: medical, personal, disability and FMLA
  • Responds to 401(k) inquiries relating to enrollments, plan changes and contribution amounts
  • Assists with the open enrollment process
  • Other duties as assigned
