Job Description

A healthcare client in Florida is looking for a Sr. Networking Engineer to join their team. We are looking for someone who can provide expert level support and solutions. This resource will work hand and hand with other network and UC engineers. This resource will site remote with about 25% travel to hospital locations across North Florida.

You will also be responsible for the following tasks:

• Designing complex WAN/LAN architectures using best practices and industry standards

• Planning and integrating new technologies and upgrades within a large network environment

• Troubleshooting and resolving network issues at Level III using protocol analysis and network tools

• Performing network impact analysis, modeling, and capacity planning

• Involved in resolving network incidents

• Documenting network standards, policies, procedures, and diagrams

• Managing IP addressing and subnetting schemes

• Provisioning and configuring WAN technologies and equipment (e.g. MPLS, ATM, ISDN, Private Line, Frame Relay, Metro-E) for various bandwidth requirements

• Implementing and maintaining network security technologies and products

Skills and Requirements

- 3+ years of Networking experience

- Ticketing system experience (service now or service central)

- Firewall experience (basic level)

- Network Services (DNS, DHCP, NTP, etc.)

- WAN

- Advanced troubleshooting skills for complex nation-wide network issues

- Knowledge of IP management standards

- Experience working with vendors on product design enhancements to integrate new technologies

- Experience with OSPF/BGP routing protocols, IP advertising/filtering/redistribution, Quality of Service, and IP multicast - CISCO Certifications

- Healthcare experience

- Bachelor's degree null
