Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 2 years of experience in system software development and testing (e.g., firmware, BIOS, BSP, Linux kernel, BMC, device drivers, and system libraries).

• Experience with Unix/Linux environments.

• Experience coding in C or C++.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience with developer operations, release management, integration testing, open source development or Open Compute Projects (OCP).

• Experience in Python/Go and scripting languages (e.g., shell).

• Experience in server system software development with Linux Boot, coreboot, boot loader, or Linux kernel.

In this role, you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.

• Work with software engineers to design the system software and support for the program planning activities (e.g., scoping, software specification, effort estimation).

• Work with software engineers to bring up the system in the Engineering Verification Testing (EVT) phase, and support the server deployment in the data center in Design Verification Testing, Production Verification Testing and pilot.

• Troubleshoot, triage, and debug the test failure, system issues during the integration testing and pilot run in the data center.

• Develop features with functional team, and maintain and enhance the automated test, tool and product delivery process.

• Contribute innovative ideas and skills to the team.
