*Traffic Design Engineer (TE3) Lacey, WA -- Olympic Region $72,552 -- $97,596 Annually * Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Transportation Engineer 3 to join the Olympic Region Traffic Office to support the agency's mission by ensuring highway construction projects are designed and constructed in compliance with standard specifications, contract specifications and contract plans. The Transportation Engineer 3 is placed in the position to collaborate with the Traffic Design team in designing and reviewing signing, illumination, work zone traffic control, traffic signals, channelization, and intelligent transportation systems. This position will also play a key role in the fish barrier effort across the region from a traffic design perspective.
