JOB DESCRIPTION Position Summary: This position primarily assists in coordinating the placement of manufacturing orders and maintain the production schedules for the western species utility pole network. Additional duties include reviewing/compiling reports, collaborating with other departments, and executing/maintaining process improvement projects under the guidance and supervision of the Master Scheduler to support the networks overall operations. Principal Responsibilities:

  • Planning and processing orders of numerous Stella-Jones locations to support supply chain needs.
  • Daily order processing into network treating/production schedules.
  • Coordinates and expedites priority orders.
  • Assists in process improvement efforts under guidance of Master Scheuler.
  • Monitors late orders and other designated KPIs.
  • Maintains production targets through reporting and communication.
  • Assists with the weekly production call presentation preparations.
  • Collaborates with designated plant representatives and Sales to manage plant inventories and target levels.
  • Participates and contributes to company safety program.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Education: Associates degree or BA/BS Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Project Management or related field preferred
  • Experience: 1-3 years' experience in scheduling and planning.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Thorough understanding of company processes and procedures
  • Ability to handle multiple functions and deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels within the organization.
  • Ability to drive and execute results.
  • Computer proficient including MS 365 and ERP systems; high proficiency in Bluebee and SAP desired.
