We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable Clerk. This role is crucial to the management and planning of the company’s finances. The responsibilities of this position will involve various duties related to data entry, accounts payable and vendor management. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to manage long processes, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

• Handle and process up to 100 invoices per day, accurately inputting data for the tracking and management of all company payables.

• Ensure all vendor invoices are correctly processed for payment in a timely manner.

• Responsible for accurately cutting checks and ensuring all payment activities align with the company’s policies.

• Efficiently perform check runs every Friday to pay the company's financial obligations.

• Maintain manual process that require attention to detail and accountability.

• Review, correct and verify invoices, including calculation checking and receipt validation.

• Establish and manage strong, professional relationships with all vendors and handle all vendor communication related to payment issues, discrepancies, and invoice tracking.

• Assist with the completion of month-end close processes, adjusting entries and advanced reconciliations.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a Accounts Payable role and familiarity with general accounting principles.

• Proficiency in data entry and use of automated accounting systems.

• Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and vendor management skills.

• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to manage and process lengthy and complex tasks.

• Must possess high level of organizational skills, attention to detail and efficiency.

• Ability to handle high volume transactions up to 100 invoices per day.
