You provide software and application expertise and analysis to support implementation of the strategy and the solution.

How you will contribute

You will provide expert consultation for a specific software or application, leading on issues and resolutions, optimizing service delivery to meet business demands and the service operations strategy. To excel in this role, you will recommend steps to optimize investments and benefits and to mitigate risks for a specific application. In addition, you will identify suppliers, evaluate them, on-board new vendors, and oversee them, work with project resources to provide design collateral and to configure software components that are aligned with security policy and governance, ensure adherence configuration standards and processes, and share your knowledge of the technology with relevant stakeholders.

Purpose of Role:

This role is Product Business Analyst, Sales Execution within MDS DX Sales Technology Hub CI Team and will be responsible for analysis and managing the delivery of new product features using Agile framework.

Job specific requirements:

• Good understanding of Agile and DevOps concepts including key principles

• Understanding of different Agile frameworks with focus on Kanban and Scrum incl. Scrum activities/events, artefacts and key roles/responsibilities in this framework

• Experience in managing requirements based on epics/user stories and knowledge of good practices and frameworks that can be utilized in this space

• Experience with facilitating backlog refinement sessions of cross functional teams, translating business requirements and processes into flow-charts and delivery team user stories mapped onto the technical solution stack

• Understanding of business processes and the role of Sales Force Automation products in Sales Execution

• Knowledge and experience in usage of collaboration and test management tools (JIRA/qTest) would be an advantage

• Good general understanding of business processes in FMCG/CPG company;

• Excellent English, Spanish written and spoken; Portuguese is an advantage

• Strong in Problem Solving, analytical and collaboration skills to work with colleagues in different markets and regions.

• Excellent communications skills both verbal, written and cross cultural;

• A collaborative approach, including effective conflict management

• Strong focus on building cost effective innovations and services.

Main Responsibilities:

• Work with Technical Product Owner (TPO) on the design and evaluation process for new features with Business Product Owner: analyze and review requirements, organize refinement sessions and update and prioritize the backlog accordingly

• Work with Business Product Owners on creation of user stories in JIRA, support as required to ensure quality, consistency and adherence to best practices incl. acceptance criteria

• Support TPO on ongoing Product Backlog refinement and prioritization

• Identify and manage solution dependencies with other products and engage with Integration Lead to understand the impact on middleware components

• Ensure that estimates provided by Suppliers together with relevant solution design documents are uploaded to JIRA and meet expected standards

• Engage with Business Product Owner, Technical Product Owner and Sales Tech Hub to finalize the design, obtain the approvals and align on development and delivery plan

• Engage with Release Team for planning, execution and monitoring product releases and test preparation in qTest for each Sprint and Release
