Master's Degree in quantitative social sciences, education research, or closely related field is required Three years of directly-related experience in quantitative and qualitative research methods and analysis. Three years of experience in a position working with data in higher education, in an office such as institutional research, information technology, finance, registrar's office. Fluency in descriptive statistical techniques and the presentation of research results to non-technical audiences Proficiency with database, spreadsheet, and word-processing applications and data analysis tools, especially SAS or SPSS, and Excel. Ability to make good decisions and work productively on multiple tasks with minimal direct supervision and time sensitive deadlines. Professional commitment to information accuracy and confidentiality. Job duties specific to this position:

Undertakes continuous evidence-based research and evaluation of the effectiveness of College programs and departments through research design, the collection and analysis of data, and the dissemination of research findings. Execute the creation and administration of institutional surveys using the College's commercial survey system, including course evaluations. Complete mandatory and ad-hoc reporting, including but not limited to state and federal reporting, accreditation, internal benchmarking, and internal and external surveys.
