WTW Senior Account Executive - Aviation in Sydney, Australia

Our Aviation team is seeking an experienced insurance broker to join their Sydney team. Bring your industry knowledge and technical skills to contribute to this collaborative and high-performing team.

The Role

  • Servicing and managing clients as directed by the Account Director

  • Preparation of client reports

  • Liaison with underwriters, insurers and other key industry stakeholders

  • Assist the Account Director with client renewal programs

  • Actively market WTW and develop new business

  • Manage customer records and database

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to solve client queries

  • Process insurance closing, endorsements and policy certification / wordings

  • Claims management

  • Ensure strong relationships are maintained with clients, insurers and other key partners

  • Explore all cross-selling opportunities, for example, Employee Benefits, Construction, Workplace Risk, M&A, Financial Lines

The Requirements

  • Proven insurance broking experience and keen interest in the aviation industry sector

  • ANZIIF qualified – Tier 1 Insurance Broking

  • Excellent technical skills in coverage and wording review

  • Understanding and technical proficiency of claims management processes

  • Experience with the placement and servicing of complex and multinational/global clients

  • Intermediate proficiency in all MS Office products and Outlook

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills both on individual and small group basis

  • Demonstrated success in managing team and client relationships
