The Role - Logistics Coordinator (15 month fixed-term contract)
This is a key role split into two parts.
The first half will see you take ownership of our customer experience by ensuring that they receive the stock they want when they need it. You will improve their experience through great communication and reduce costs through efficient processing of orders and logistics planning.
The second half of the contract is where you use the experience you have gained and take over testing for a new S4Hana system implementation. You will work through the key processes and help to identify system improvements.
The main responsibilities of the role are:
Ownership of the order fulfillment process from processing through to delivery and will keep customers updated with the progress of their orders
Increase truck utilisation and order picking efficiencies
Working with our Logistics Providers to ensure that customers orders are on time and in full
Identifying improvement opportunities in the delivery process
Managing customer claims
Supporting the SAP upgrade through testing current processes and incorporating new ways of working where appropriate
This position is based in the Sydney office and is great opportunity within a global organisation

What you’ll need
Bachelor Degree in Business, Marketing, Science or a similar field is preferred
3 years experience in a similar customer service role
Experience working with SAP
