About the Role

As a Clinical Solutions Commercial Manager, you will drive the strategic vision and execution of product development, ensuring market success. You will lead cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions, optimize product performance, and enhance customer satisfaction. Your role is pivotal in shaping the product roadmap and achieving business objectives.

Reporting to the Country Director - ANZ, this is a permanent Full-time role based in either Sydney or Melbourne, with the possibility of combined home/office-based arrangements to have a flexible work-life balance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategy for Clinical Solutions segment (ClinicalKey, ClinicalSkills, Amirsys)

  • Identify opportunities, present compelling solutions to customers, and achieve revenue targets.

  • Understand the needs of healthcare providers in developing partnerships with customers and Health IT solution providers.

  • Assess the feasibility of new products across, contribute to Go-to-Market planning, and lead post-sales activities with customers, such as product training and integration requirements.

  • Collaborate with local, regional, and global Marketing/sales teams to establish Elsevier as a premier provider of clinical and workflow solutions.

  • Provide input on customer requirements, product roadmaps, upgrades, CKS integration, and troubleshooting.

  • Define product strategy and roadmap based on market research, customer feedback, and analysis of industry peers.

Requirements

  • Science or clinical (Medical/Nursing/Allied Health) background with demonstrated product management experience.

  • Prior experience within clinical decision support will be advantageous.

  • Has a firm grasp of data and technical architecture principles and best practices

  • Skilled in problem-solving, breaking down complex issues, and taking initiative in addressing challenges.

  • Possess forward-thinking approach, be able to connect with external groups, and mentor on customer-driven strategies.
