Legend Acres is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual for the role of Event and Fundraising Coordinator. This position involves coordinating and managing various events, including local farmers markets, vendor events, and dog-themed activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for event planning, promotion, and execution, ensuring a positive representation of Legend Acres and Legends Heroes. This role extends to replenishing inventory, handling payments, collaborating with local businesses for fundraising events, creating promotional materials, managing the online store, and overseeing pickups for online purchases. Responsibilities: -Identify, register, and participate in local farmers markets, vendor events, and dog-themed activities. -Set up and promote Legend Acres and Legends Heroes at events and ensure a successful tear-down process. -Replenish inventory and manage promotional materials during events. -Collaborate with local businesses to organize fundraising events for Legends Heroes scholarship funds. -Create weekly flyers and promotional posts for upcoming events, distributed as part of \"Wednesday Weekend Wags.\" -Engage in external marketing efforts, including classifieds, paid event boards, and collaboration with local magazines for editorials, articles, and advertisements. -Represent Legend Acres and Legends Heroes at network meetings and gatherings, fostering positive relationships. -Manage inventory for events and the online store, ensuring proper stock levels. -Arrange pickups for online purchases, providing excellent customer service. -Work closely with the team to ensure seamless coordination of events and fundraising initiatives.
