Kelly® Professional & Industrial is seeking Entry Level Machine Operators for an Automotive Manufacture in Surgoinsville, Tennessee.

Pay rate & Shifts Available:

1st Shift:** 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday – Friday - $15.81/hour

2nd Shift:** 3:20 pm - 11:50 pm, Monday – Friday - $16.16/hour

3rd Shift:** 10:40 pm - 7:10 am, Sunday – Thursday - $16.06/hour

Note: Overtime may be required. During your first week, you will train on 1st shift unless assigned to 2nd shift, in which case your first two days will be on 1st shift.

Location: Surgoinsville, TN 37873, United States

Machine Operator Duties:

• Operate tube cutter to produce required quantity of tubes meeting quality standards.

• Troubleshoot tube cutter and maintain straightness through adjustments.

• Adjust and maintain block wheel alignment to ensure quality tube production.

• Change cutter blades as necessary.

• Perform basic preventative maintenance on tube cutters.

• Adhere to safety and environmental regulations.

• Participate in training sessions as required.

• Maintain housekeeping and health & safety standards.

• Comply with company policies and procedures, including TS 16949 and ISO 14001.

• Utilize continuous improvement and cost reduction concepts.

Machine Operator Requirements:

• High School Diploma/ GED

• Ability to operate machinery to produce automotive parts according to specifications.

• Monitor equipment performance and identify any signs of malfunction.

• Conduct quality checks on produced parts and address any defects promptly.

• Handle raw materials, components, and finished products as required.

• Maintain accurate production records and report any issues to supervisors.
