Fleet Ballistic Missiles (FBM) is one of Lockheed Martin’s outstanding Lines of Businesses that prioritizes partnership, integrity, and reliability. The Life Extension 2 team is an organization within the greater FBM program which supports the development of the Next Generation System by developing concepts, researching, and maturing technologies to support the development of the next FBM Missile System.

This position will oversee the daily operation and maintenance of the FBM Missile Integration Lab (MIL) in Sunnyvale, CA. The MIL is a one of a kind electrical test lab utilized for missile system electrical and functional testing.

The position will be a working lead, expected to support test planning and execution activities. You will lead a team of approximately 3-4 employees.

As a Systems Integration and Test Engineering Associate Manager , your daily tasks will include:

• Development and Maintenance of Staffing Support

• Management of Test Product Readiness (Procedures, Plans and Scripts)

• Day-to-Day direction of test team

• Generation of Detailed Timeline Planning and Technical Guidance for Test Execution

• Performance Reviews / Hiring / Job Placement for Badged Personnel

• Program ATLO Planning Inputs

• Assist in GSE and Operations CAM Duties

• Rewards & recognition

• Mentoring your team

Basic Qualifications:

• BS in Engineering/ Aerospace Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college

• Experience in electrical testing, including development of detailed test plans, procedures and/or scripts

• Must have an Active Top Secret security clearance

Desired Skills:

• Full Spectrum Leadership capability with strong oral, written, and presentation skills including the ability to interact effectively with customers and senior program management

• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements and dynamic schedules with minimal direct oversight

• Familiar with Automation Framework

• Experience with spacecraft/GSE hardware integration, testing and anomaly resolution

• Experience with Test and Measurement equipment and methods

• Demonstrated experience working and collaborating with Government customers

• Willing to work overtime supporting off shifts and weekends in a 24/7 operations environment

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $100,400 - $192,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $115,500 - $217,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
