Position: Joint Experimentation Analyst (Junior to Senior Level)
Location:Suffolk, VA
Overview:Group W, a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking a resourceful individual for the roles of Entry-level, Junior, and Mid-Level Joint Experimentation Analyst to perform analysis, research, and development of Joint Wargaming and Experimentation Division (JWED) Advanced Technologies (AT) using data science tools (ADVANA), performing operations research analysis, employing data repositories and analytic tools, and research and development with Joint Experimentation Network (Jex Net) and other methods and tools in support of our Department of Defense (DoD) customer.As part of a small, egalitarian team the successful candidate will wear multiple hats, voice their opinions confidently, and ingest critical feedback with self-correcting humility. An eagerness to acquire new knowledge and undertake broader duties is integral to success at Group W.
Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Top Secret (TS)/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, operations research, computer science, data science or other Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) disciplines
- Pro-active approach to problem solving
- Familiarity with data analytics that require various data science techniques including ADVANA
- Familiarity with Joint Experimentation environment to include: JExNet, JEx Forum (JEF), APEXNET, JWED-AT, Knowledge Sharing and Management, and Rapid Defense Experimentation Reserve (RDER)
Preferred:
- Master's degree in mathematics, operations research, computer science or other applicable Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines
- 2+ years' experience for junior-level roles
- 4+ years' experience for Mid-level roles
- 8+ years' experience for Senior-level roles
- Ability to learn and learn and apply new methods as required by a particular analysis
- Demonstrated experience with Joint Experimentation methods and tools
- Ability to work effectively as part of an integrated team
- Adept at interfacing with clients
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform Joint Wargaming and Experimentation (JWE) operations analysis
- Perform JExNET operations and management
- Develop system architectures and design products using ADVANA and other tools
- Develops analytic products and services using data/database science, statistics, and/or mathematics
- Supports other analysts in completing analysis and ensuring the accuracy of all work products
- Assists more senior analysts in their analysis efforts
Salary:$85,000 - $150,000(Provided as a general guideline only. Compensation dependent upon relevant work experience related to the scope of the position, education, training, and market considerations).
